工程特点及概况：
豫园商城位于上海老城厢，具有400余年历史，名闻中外的九曲桥，湖心亭是人们观光旅游的必到之处，这一地区是上海古旧民风民俗保留最完全的地区，因此在建筑风格上新建筑必须具有明清江南园林特点，豫园商城一期改造工程是一组仿古建筑群，主体建筑为天裕楼，高耸云霄，以及环绕中心广场四周的华宝楼、和丰楼等，新建筑群外观完全采用江南园林风格黛色小表瓦红柱、粉墙、配以米红色挂落栏杆、亭台楼阁上下呼应，美不胜收，并与保留建筑的街巷风格产生和谐的对话与交流。
新建建筑群主要为商业设施，主要经营百货、金银饰品，小吃、古玩及工艺品等，它是九十年代上海十大新景观之一。
Yuyuan Tourist Mart is located in the old area around the city gate of Shanghai and has more than 400 years, history. Jiuqu Bridge and Huxin Pavilion are the famous sight spots for sightseeing and tourism. This area has the most complete ancient folkways in Shanghai, so the architectural style of the new building must have the features of Jiangnan gardens. The Phase I reconstruction project of Yuyuan Tourist Mart is a group of antique complex buildings, the principal ones of which include the cloud-capped Tianyu Building, Huabao Building and Hefeng Building, etc. around the central square. The appearance of the new complex completely adopts the black tiles, red columns, white walls and pink balustrades with pavilions, terraces and towers responding to each other in the patterns of Jiangnan gardens. There are too many beautiful scenes to be absorbed all at once, which communicates with the street and alley style of the preserved buildings harmoniously.
The newly built complex is mainly composed of the commercial facilities such as the general merchandise, jewel, snack, antique and artwork, etc. Yuyuan Tourist Mart was one of the top ten new landscapes in Shanghai in 1990s.
