? Due to the rapid economy development over the past 10 years, Suzhou has accumulated a relative big retail consumption pool. Year 2007 total retail sales of social consumer goods reached RMB 124.55 billion. It’s the thrice of three years ago (year 2004). Urban population per capita disposable income was RMB 21,260. 由于过去这十年里经济的快速发展，苏州已经逐渐积累起了巨大的零售消费市场。2007年社会消费品零售总额已达到1245.5亿元人民币，比2004年增长了近三倍。城镇人均可支配收入已达21,260元人民币每年。

? Guanqianjie Pedestrian Street extends from Renmin Road in the west to Lindun Road in the east, encompassed by some side alleys, just like Taijianlong (太监弄), Gongxiang (宫巷), yinguoxiang (因果巷), Jiuxueqian (旧学前), etc. 观前街步行街西起人民路东至临顿路，周围分布着一些小巷子，如太监弄，宫巷，因果巷，旧学前等。
? Guanqianjie Pedestrian Street is a mid end street in Suzhou City. The target market of this street is both local people and tourists. For there is a Xuanmiao Temple, a travel site, on this street, there are always many travelers. 在苏州市观前街是一条中档街道。目标客户是苏州本地人和游客，因为这条街上有个旅游景点—玄妙观，因此经常有很多游客。

The street is comprised by many century stores (selling cake, confectionary, Suzhou silk, etc), fashion shops (selling apparel, accessories, etc) and some F & B (Daimei Hotpot傣妹火锅, Haoren Civilian Refection好人民间小吃, KFC, Ajisen Ramen味千拉面, etc). 这条街上有很多百年老店(卖一些糕点、糖果、苏州丝绸等)、时装店(卖服装、饰品等)和一些餐饮(如傣妹火锅、好人民间小吃、肯德基、味千拉面等)。
? Taijianlong Street is a crowd of F & B facilities. Quite a lot of F & B facilities stand here. There are some Suzhou Century Restaurants, like Lu zhenxing Noodles (陆振兴面馆), Lvyang Wonton （绿杨馄饨）, Zhu hongxing Noodles （朱鸿兴）, Yon Ho (永和豆浆), etc. Some famous restaurants with Suzhou Style stand here too, just like that Deyuelou Restaurant （得月楼）, Xinjufeng Restaurant （新聚丰酒楼）, Chuanfulou Restaurant （川福楼）, etc. It really does good business. 太监弄是餐饮集中地，这里有相当多的餐饮设施。有很多苏州百年老店，如陆振兴面馆，绿杨馄饨、朱鸿兴面馆、永和豆浆等。还有一些著名的苏式餐馆，如小小得月楼，新聚丰酒楼，川福楼等。这些店的生意都很兴旺。
